this is troubling at its base level, but becomes a little more troubling when you remember that they are aware that my PTSD renders me immobile. Now, ren has admitted that they were aware of the problem when it occurred, but they did not elect to speak to me, their (at the time) sexual partner and (at the time) friend. i do not trust them in this situation, because they have betrayed my trust regarding being up front with things with me before (see below)ĭuring the times when ren would visit, this so-called “sleep-groping” problem would happen a multitude of times-my PTSD makes it hard for me to remember specific numbers, but a ballpark estimate of how many times it’s happened to me is 10-15 (in two visits). They also mention it being something they do in their sleep, but i find that bogus because of finer details during the actual groping state to me that ren was awake the entire time. they acknowledge that what they did to me was wrong but mention going to therapy for it, something that i, as the victim, am not comfortable with. Ren has a self-admitted problem with groping people when they think they’re sleeping. With this background, here is what i want you all to know: this boundary was placed in december of 2012 because ren experienced it first-hand with an event i can’t talk about now. i have post-traumatic stress disorder, relating to a lot of sexual trauma, and when i am touched unprovoked, i am “dead in the water”. we had our boundaries, but our most prominent one was “ask before any touching is done”. Ren and i were in a fairly sexual relationship, not a romantic one. i am upset that a post of this nature was made without first consulting me explicitly-things on tumblr tend to explode and in this case, the person who would experience fallout is me. There’s a post going around that i want to address-i’m the author of the text file in the post in question (and thus the one who took the file down cause i really did NEED to make this post!) The original post has been deleted, but was archived on the Flash Flash Revolution forums. Shortly after, the post was shared to the Lapfox Trax subreddit, where it gained 40 points (82% upvoted) and 96 comments. Nishimikan claims that she has made the post to "raise awareness" of Renard's actions. In 2014, Tumblr user Nishimikan made a text post accusing Renard for sexual assault, saying that Renard gropes people in their sleep, with her being one of the victims. Renard used to be in a relationship with SqueedgeMonster, who did most of the cover art for Renard's albums, until they broke up some time in August 2013. Renard claims to be agender, and prefers gender-neutral pronouns when referred to. Renard is 26 years old and currently lives in Hamilton, Canada. Notable songs used in YTPMV include Intensive Care Unit, Rock My Emotions, Rainbow Tylenol and Avast Your Ass. Renard's music is often used as background music in YTPMV. Again, the website was retired, and the domain is now used for Renard's official Bandcamp. In 2007, Renard launched a website for their music, titled "VulpVibe", which was later retired and replaced with "LapFox Trax" in 2009. Another one of Renard's songs, "Outsider", has been used in an episode of "The GMod Idiot Box", another series made by Machinima. The remix gained the artist a great deal of notoriety among Machinima fans on YouTube, which led to the remix being added to the ending of the Full-Life Consequences finale, "Free Man". While the song had over 5,000 views on Fur Affinity, "John Freeman" on YouTube has recieved over 370,000 views on the original video as of April 2015. In October 2008, a remix of the popular series Half-Life: Full Life Consequences, managed to bring the DJ even more spotlight. As of May 2015, the video has nearly 400,000 views. The first video on the channel, "Coward Killing Time", was released September 17, 2008. Renard's music further grew in popularity upon making a YouTube channel. A few other songs broke a thousand views after, including "Homosexual Love Scene Remix]", "Marble Town", and "Sergalingus". Renard's account became more popular after submitting their song "Radioactive Rats " (shown below) on November 29, 2007, which was the first of their songs to garnish over a thousand views. Renard first joined Fur Affinity on May 22nd, 2006, using it to upload and share music.
